The Canary Islands are situated in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean not far away from Africa’s Westcoast and only an approximate 4 to 5 hours flight away from central Europe. The islands have more than 300 sunny days per year with all season mild mediterranean and subtropical climate, which is often referred to as an eternal spring. Landscapes do not only vary a lot from island to island, further each kilometer of every island offers manifold sceneries and partly even different climate zones. Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is a perfect combination of arid and spectacular volcanic landscapes, sleepy fishing villages, and paradisiacal beaches of emerald waters and fine white sand.

And the result couldn’t have been more breathtaking: vast plains on which low mountains form gentle curves in the terrain, an image which transmits a deep feeling of relaxation. The scarce vegetation intensifies the tranquility, creating a setting that is unique in Europe.

An island with more than 150 km of white sand beaches and turquoise waters, where the perfect picture could be taken in any of the immense natural landscapes like the largest reserve of sand dunes, contours of rocks and stones as well as green palm oases.

Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria is often described as a miniature continent as it is more like three continents on one island. Blessed with dramatic variations of terrain ranging from the green and leafy North, lush pine forests, dramatic volcanic landscapes and the ever-changing dunes in the South.

Almost half of Gran Canaria is part of World Biosphere Reserves due to its diverse flora and fauna, vivid geological attractions of volcanic origin and rich archaeological heritage. 

The beaches vary in a way to meet every need: large, lively, quiet, coves, golden or dark sand, volcanic rocks, natural pools or some of the best urban beaches in Europe.

Lanzarote

Lanzarote is no less than a rocky paradise, showcasing a rare mix of varied topography which stands out above the rest with volcanic formations, beaches, vineyards, and caves where nature and modernity coexist. 

Artist César Manrique had a large impact on the sustainable development of the island to be in harmony with its natural surroundings. 

Besides Lanzarote’s Mars-like surface in a palette of colors, mixing reds and oranges with blacks, greys and ochres, the island not only convinces with its beautiful beaches surrounded by turquoise waters but also with numerous vineyards between black volcanic soil.

Tenerife

Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, is the island of a thousand experiences and numerous extraordinary natural spaces. It is dominated by Spain’s highest mountain, the 3718 meters high volcano Mount Teide with its mighty crater which is possibly the most striking scenery you have ever seen. 

The island does have five different climate zones which makes its natural environment so diverse. Tenerife’s coastline is typically rugged and steep, but also has almost 70 kilometers of fine sand beaches.

La Palma

If La Palma were a color, it would be every shade of green. The contrast of lush forests up north and arid volcanic land down south blend in perfectly.
